It will be May 23 - 29, 2010 in Meridian, Mississippi. At the Best Western Hotel Hospitality Room on South Frontage Road in Meridian, Mississippi.

Our Hospitality Nights are the 3rd thursday of every month.

Sucarnochee Revue Showcases Young Artists
The Sucarnochee Revue returns to downtown Meridian and the Temple Theatre Friday, July 3 at 7 pm for another taping of the nationally syndicated radio show. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door and in advance at the Temple box office. This month’s Revue features some of the up and coming new artists from Mississippi,Tennessee, and Alabama.
Featured artists include William Michael Morgan, Taylor Ivey, Chase Cooksey; John McEachin; Skylar Hardin; Alex Goldman; and Track 45’s Benjamin, and K.K. Johnson.
All these young artists are making a mark on the music scene. Alex Goldman has won a number of vocal competitions over the last ten months ranging from pop to classical performance including "Peavey’s After School Not Idol". Skylar Hardin won last year’s Jimmie Rodgers Talent Show. Taylor Ivey is working in Nashville on studio projects. Track 45 continues to record and book dates across the South.
Producer/host Jacky Jack White says, "These young people are carrying the torch passed down from Rodgers, Paul Williams, Chris Ethridge, Steve Forbert, and all the many artists from this area who’ve accomplished so much on the international music stage."
The regular cast of the Revue includes Mississippi Chris Sharp and Piper Lauderdale ; J. Burton Fuller; and Britt Gully. Recently, the Revue was honored with a grant from the Black Belt Community Foundation, and Jacky Jack White was selected by the Alabama State Council on the Arts for their annual Fellowship in Music.

The Jimmie Rodgers Museum which has been in operation since 1976, located in Highland Park in Meridian, Mississippi .
The Jimmie Rodgers Museum is now open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Special arrangements for tours at other times can be made by calling (601) 917-4344, (601) 482-0166 or the museum at (601) 485-1808 and leaving a message.
On Tuesday, May 26th, the Museum will be open in recognition of the 75th Anniversary of the death of Jimmie Rodgers from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person. Chidlren are admitted free.
Products may be ordered by calling (601) 485-1808 and leaving a message on the answering machine.
